Do you remember when everyone had an infinity symbol tattoo? Or the dog filter era? Or the snow boots? Or the statement necklaces?
From the quirky to cringeworthy trends, millennials have gone through it all. Millennials have seen trends come and go at lightning speed, and yes, we admit that some of the decisions were not ideal, but you have to admit that some of the trends still seem pretty cool even today…

Skinny Jeans
Someone once defined "fashion" as "something so awful that we have to change it every 6 months". Wear what's comfortable, suits you and appropriate for the occasion. Don't change just because someone you've heard of is wearing it.
The Pouf
Do you know what a pouf is in French ? It can be wether : - an ottoman - a slur word for girl/woman lacking altogether class, manners, sense of fashion, likeability. Someone you don´t want to befriend / share space with. Probably the meanest thing a girl could say about another girl, cause saying it aloud to someone face would start a fight.
Ankle Socks
I only have ankle socks, and it won't change. Everyone should wear what's comfortable for them.
The Side Part
The way someone allows their hair to lie can become outdated?! Stfu, BP "writers".
The Laugh-Cry Emoji
I refuse to care which stupid cartoons are 'trendy' to use. I can communicate just fine with words thanks, I don't need to add a string of silly pictures after every communication, let alone worry about whether their current popularity. The sooner emojis die out the better for me.
What a terrible article. First, am sooo tired of defining EVERYTHING by generations. It's so dividing and abitrary. Second, WHAT is this list about anyway??? Many of those things have been around for a long time, so now they're trends? Says who? And third, do we really need to opinionate about ppl wearing headbands or whatever??? Sigh. OK I did not read all entries, maybe I missed something good.
Also some of these were very much linked to different areas of the world. The terminology and trends differ in that place outside of the US...the rest of the world.
